In your own space, rec at least three fanworks that you didn’t create.
I'm going with fanvids. The Walking Dead fans are awesome in this area. There are so many great edits out there. It was hard to pick just a few of my favorites to rec. I also picked some random ones from other fandoms that have stuck out in my mind over time as ones that I go back to again and again. Spoilers for all of the canons below, and I have to give a general warning for gore in The Walking Dead vids.
The Walking Dead Tribute

This vid gets me in my feels. They've all been through so much. You watch their losses and how often and how hard they get hit. Then Tyreese yells, "I'm not giving up!" And, man, that could summarize this video and the entire show. It's a story about family and resilience and getting back up again and again, and I love how this video encapsulates that. I'm probably going to cry rivers when The Walking Dead ends next year, but it's a story that has meant a lot to me over the years and fanworks like this will help ease me through having to say goodbye.

I start to lose it at about the 2:50 mark. The whole video is fantastic, but there's something about the pairing of the lyric "you could have it all" with the montage of happy moments and unity in the Grimes family from goofing off on the tracks with Carl to holding hands with Michonne and the parallels that makes me want to sob. It's so good!
Carol is Queen

This woman has the best character growth arc I've ever seen. Watching her change over the years from where she started to Rambo to this incredibly strong character with layers and layers of depth has been amazing. This vid is a great illustration of what makes Carol complex and compelling season after season.
The Walking Dead - Daryl & Carol

I am beyond excited for their spin-off. The relationship between these characters is one of my favorites on the show. I'm a firm believer that soulmates don't necessarily have to be romantic, so whether or not they end up together or stay best friends throughout the end of TWD and what comes next, these two are soulmates in my eyes. Side by side to the end. This vid really draws a line under that.
Being Human - Mitchell/Annie

This is one of my favorite fanvids. I've come back to watch it so many times over the years. The editing is beautiful, and I love the way it cuts with the music. They were such a sweet and angst-filled ship at the same time, and it's all laid out here in such a pretty way.

Gah! Apparently, I will love every incarnation of this ship. I'll be sitting here in thirty years watching the tenth reboot of the show and going, yep, I will still go down with this ship. Such a sweet video, and I love the song choice.
Haven - Nathan/Duke

THIS SHIP, THOUGH. I was up and down with this show, but I love this ship so much. Duke is amazing. My favorite. I'll love him always. I never got into the fic side of this fandom. (I should correct that because I want to read about Nathan and Duke ending up together and being happy and annoyed with each other but filled with history and affection despite it all. And now I'm distracting myself into wanting to go dig up rec lists for this ship....) A sad vid! But a good one.
