Search in your current space, whether brick-and-mortar or digital. Post a picture (a link to a picture will be fine!) or description of something that is or represents:

1. Something your favorite character would like



I think "Dear Diary" Stefan Salvatore would like my new journal. Probably not the color. But the 'I'm having deep thoughts and need to record them while brooding handsomely' energy behind the vegan leather.

2. Something that makes you laugh

My sister sent me a picture this morning of her newborn, and he seriously looks like a curmudgeonly old man, but since he's 1) not fandom, and 2) not a social media baby, I will instead direct you to this picture of a hippo giving his best Joey Tribbiani.

3. A fandom place you would like to visit



I don't even care if I get eaten. Take my money and let me see the dinosaurs!

4. A fandom creator (pro or not) you'd like to meet

The lack of image here is not a mistake. If I saw my favorite creator in the street, I'd turn around and haul out of there. If they were mean or awful in some way, they'd ruin the work I love them for. All the gratitude in the world for what you've created! You're awesome! ... But create it far away from me where I can continue to enjoy your book/movie/show/music in blissful peace and ignorance. You won't catch me in line for an autograph. I love them too much to meet them.

5. Something you find comforting



I reread it every one to two years. It is the ultimate comfort read for me. If my stress is high, you'll probably find me haunting the corridors of Northanger Abbey.

6. Something from a favorite TV series or movie from your childhood



I hope I go full Mulan if I ever have to deal with home invaders. It's the energy I summon when the fitted sheet needs to be washed and put back on the mattress. Solo.

7. A piece of clothing you love



I wear it on Christmas.

8. A book or song with a color in the title



Orange is my favorite color. I haven't read this book, but it's been on my TBR since it came out. I will get there. Eventually!

9. Something only someone in your fandom would understand



It's a bad idea to hide something important in a bowl of decorative soaps. Just saying.

What a fun list... and, yes, Jurassic Park would be a fun place to visit... although it would be nice to not get eaten! LOL!

That journal is super pretty, but also leather journals in general are just nice and have such character.

Gosh, Jurassic Park would be exciting and terrifying to roam around just because. Bring on the chaos!

Mulan is such a badass. Def one of my fav Disney characters for sure!

That's a pretty journal! Also, Northanger Abbey is a great book. I can definitely see how it would be a comfort reread. :)

Thank you! I think there's something to be said about familiarity too. Don't have to worry about something popping up to interrupt the comfort-seeking when you know the story inside out. :)
