majorrChallenge #3: Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
In your own space, tell us who, from one of your fandoms, would you most want to have dinner with (or tea, or a random afternoon visit), And why? This could be a creator, an actor, a costumer, a set designer, a director, a character, a composer, anybody! What would you talk about? What are you dying to know? Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
There are so many fun possible guests for this one. I’d like to talk to the creator of Breakout Kings about where he would have gone with the show if it hadn’t been canceled. I would love to know what new Prison Break story might have been made since it doesn’t look like there is going to be any more seasons. Gimli or Mozzie would be a riot at a dinner party as would Mindy Kaling or Foggy Nelson, and most of the names that went through my head made it pretty clear that what I wanted most from whoever came over was someone I thought I could laugh with.
All those would have been fun guests, but ultimately I’d send that invite to Hurley from LOST.
I would love to eat dinner with Hurley. I’d love to be stuck in traffic with Hurley. I’d love to be neighbors with Hurley or get trapped in an elevator or be roommates or best friends with him. Lol He is one of my favorite characters of all time, funny and easygoing and kindhearted. There are some characters I love but know I wouldn’t want to spend five minutes in the same room with them. Hurley is someone I’d be happy to be lost on an island with forever. I don’t have anything specific I’d want to ask or discuss. I just want to hang out, maybe watch Exposé or play golf and do donuts in a VW bus after we eat.
It would be a good time.
